From the 1st April 2015, as required in the 2015/16 GMS contract, practices must allocate a named accountable GP for all registered patients. A named accountable GP has already been allocated to patients aged 75 years and over.
At Rock Court Surgery, the named accountable GP is the GP with whom you are registered.
Please ask at reception if you are not sure who your named accountable GP is.
The named GP will take on administrative responsibility for the co-ordination of all appropriate services required under the contract and ensure they are delivered to each of their patients where required (based on the clinical judgement of the named accountable GP).
Patients remain free to make appointments with any of the doctors or associated clinical staff at the practice.
